| dc.description.abstract | Tuberculosis (TB) is still one of the main health problems in Indonesia, including in Pematangsiantar City. Puskesmas Kartini is one of the health facilities that has a high number of pulmonary TB cases, but the implementation of the prevention program still faces various obstacles. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the pulmonary TB prevention program at Puskesmas Kartini Kota Pematangsiantar based on a systems approach, which includes aspects of input, process, and output. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The sample consisted of the head of the puskesmas, the person in charge of the TB program, laboratory staff, cadres, PMOs, and pulmonary TB patients who were undergoing treatment. The results showed that in terms of input, the availability of health workers was still limited, there was only one active TB cadre. Operational funds come from BOK but are not sufficient for program needs. Facilities and infrastructure are still lacking, including the unavailability of molecular rapid test kits (TCM). In terms of process, diagnosis and treatment have been carried out according to procedures, but recording, reporting, and monitoring activities have not been optimized. In terms of output, the case finding rate of pulmonary TB has increased from year to year, but has not yet reached the national target. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the pulmonary TB control program at Puskesmas Kartini is not optimal, especially in terms of human resources, funding, and facilities and infrastructure. System improvements and strengthening cross-sector support are needed to achieve overall program success. | en_US |
