Changes in the way individuals access counseling services, whether through conventional or online methods, raise questions about the effectiveness of both forms of service on subjective well-being (SWB). This study aims to analyze the differences in subjective well-being between users of conventional and online counseling. The research method used is quantitative comparative with convenience sampling technique. There were 106 respondents who had participated in conventional and online counseling services. The research instruments included the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), which were then processed into a total SWB score. Data analysis was performed using an independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS. Based on the data analysis results, the t-value was -1.434 with a significance level (p) of 0.154 (>0.05). The results indicated no significant difference in subjective well-being between users of conventional and online counseling. This study confirms that the effectiveness of counseling is more influenced by process factors, such as the therapeutic relationship and counselor skills, than by the medium of service used.en_US
