Village Information System (SID) is a system that aims to assist village
governments in documenting village data electronically based on the web, which
is useful for facilitating data search and accelerating services to the community.
Previous research has not extensively explained how the aspects supporting the
implementation of SID affect the acceleration of village development, especially
those involving human resources, infrastructure, and IT services. This research
attempts to explain this through a quantitative approach. Based on observations
in the Kota Kualasimpang sub-district, Aceh Tamiang district, it is known that
there are several problems related to the Village Information System (SID),
namely the village government has not optimized SID in an effort to improve
public services, there is no strong and stable internet access, and there is no
concept for SID development. This certainly causes the community to be unable to
access information on village government administration effectively and
efficiently. The population in this study is the entire community in the Kota
Kualasimpang sub-district, consisting of five villages with a total of 5804
households. Using the Slovin formula, the sample size in this study was 99
samples. Data analysis techniques use hypothesis testing t and f. The results show
that simultaneously human resources, infrastructure, and IT services have a
positive and significant effect on the acceleration of village development in the
Kota Kualasimpang sub-district, Aceh Tamiang district. This thesis contributes to
the theory of development planning, especially in strengthening participatory and
systemic approaches through web-based electronic media in the context of village
development.
