Analisis Implementasi Maintenance Management System dalam Penggunaan SAP Modul Plant Maintenance di PT Inalum :Studi Kasus Industri Aluminium Primer

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Maintenance Management System (MMS) through the use of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) at PT INALUM. Although managerial-level understanding of SAP PM and MMS concepts is relatively high, the study identified a significant gap between perception and actual practices in the field. This gap stems from technical, organizational, and insufficient external environmental factors. Utilizing the Technology-Organization- Environment (TOE) framework, this research reveals that technological and organizational dimensions are the main drivers of successful implementation, while the environmental dimension remains less dominant. The study also highlights the importance of risk management and the cascading use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from strategic to operational levels. The key contribution of this study is the formulation of a structured and integrated digitalization roadmap for maintenance, aligned with the migration to SAP S/4HANA. The findings provide a foundation for PT INALUM to develop strategies for user competence enhancement, SOP optimization, and fostering a data-driven work culture.
