Pengaruh Job Embeddedness dan Burnout terhadap Quality of Work Life pada Karyawan Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)
The Effect of Job Embeddedness and Burnout on Quality of Work Life for Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) Employees
Abstract
The shift to a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) system gives employees the freedom to manage their own working hours and location. This situation creates new dynamics that can affect employee job embeddedness and the risk of burnout, which in turn impacts quality of work life. This study aims to determine the effect of Job Embeddedness and Burnout on Quality of Work Life among employees working under the Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) system. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory research type with a sample of 385 Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) employees. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through the SmartPLS 4 program. The results showed that the Job Embeddedness variable had a significant positive effect on Quality of Work Life, while the Burnout variable did not have a significant effect on Quality of Work Life. This indicates that employee engagement improves their quality of work life, while work fatigue does not always have a direct impact on a decline in quality of work life. The implication is that the results of this study can provide information for companies in developing policies and programs that can increase employee engagement and manage the risk of work fatigue in order to strengthen Quality of Work Life in flexible work systems.
