Analysis of the Effect of Accounts Receivable Turnover, Firm Size, Capital Structure, and Return on Investment on the Profit Growth of Financing Companies in Indonesia
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of accounts receivable turnover, firm size, capital structure, and return on investment on the profit growth of financing companies in Indonesia. The sample for this study consists of 32 financing companies in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022, resulting in a total of 165 observations. The data used in this study is secondary annual data obtained from the audited financial statements of the selected financing companies. The analysis method employed is panel data regression. The results show that, partially, the variables of accounts receivable turnover and firm size have no significant effect on the profit growth of financing companies in Indonesia, while the capital structure variable has a significant negative effect on profit growth, and the return on investment variable has a significant positive effect on profit growth. The results of the study, when analyzed simultaneously, indicate that accounts receivable turnover, firm size, capital structure, and return on investment do not significantly affect the profit growth of financing companies in Indonesia, with the independent variables explaining 21.74% of the variation in the dependent variable.
