The Effect of Work Stress, Job Satisfaction, and Work Environment on Employee Performance at Bank BTN KC Medan
Abstract
The research was conducted on employees of Bank BTN KC Medan, using a quantitative method through the distribution of questionnaires to [number of respondents] respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The phenomenon underlying this research is the indication of a decrease in employee performance which is suspected to be influenced by the level of work stress, job satisfaction, and working environment conditions that are not yet optimal. This research aims to determine the effect of work stress, job satisfaction, and work environment on employee performance. The results of the research show that work stress has a negative effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that the lower the level of work stress and the better the job satisfaction and work environment, the higher the employee performance tends to be. It is suggested that management pay attention to workload balance, create a more comfortable work environment, and improve aspects of appreciation and communication to maintain employee job satisfaction and reduce work stress so that performance remains optimal.
