This study discusses the language style used in father-child interaction in the Qur'an using the concept of style of language developed by Tarigan. This study is a literature review using the qualitative method proposed by Sugiyono. The data collection method used in this study is the observation method with note-taking techniques. The data analysis methods employed include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results obtained show that the style of language found in the interactions between fathers and children in the Qur'an varies. In the story of Jacob and his sons (QS. Al-Baqarah, QS. Yusuf), comparative language styles (antithesis, prolepsis anticipation), connection (synecdoche, erotesis), and contrast (litotes, irony, oxymoron, paralipsis, innuendo, apophasis) dominate. The interaction between Ibrahim and his father Azar (QS. Al-An'am, QS. Maryam) also features comparative language styles (metaphor, antithesis), connection (erotesis), and contrast (litotes). The story of Nuh and his son (QS. Hud) features comparative language styles (metaphor, antithesis). Meanwhile, the interaction between Jacob and his son Joseph (QS. Yusuf) shows comparative language styles (personification, allegory) and contrast (litotes, innuendo). The story of Luqman and his son (QS. Luqman) shows comparative language styles (metaphor, allegory, antithesis) and contrast (litotes). The interactions between fathers and sons in the Qur’an reveal the complexity of emotional, psychological, and spiritual relationships, conveyed not through flat narration but through the use of strong and meaningful linguistic styles.en_US
