    Abstract
This study aims to describe the types of Arabic code mixing and describe the factors that cause Arabic code mixing in the Arab Maklum Series Season 2. This study is included in the sociolinguistic study using the code mixing theory proposed by Suandi as the main theory, in addition to the code mixing theory proposed by Chaer and Agustina as a supporting theory. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The research data was obtained through the listening method and note-taking technique, namely by listening to the dialogue in the Arab Maklum Series Season 2 which contains code mixing and then recording relevant data. The data source in the study is primary data in the form of the characters' speech in the Arab Maklum Series Season 2 and the analysis method uses a model that contains elements of Arabic code mixing. The data analysis technique used is the intralingual equivalent method by comparing the lingual elements contained in the research data. The results of the study show that three code mixings are found in the Arab Maklum Series Season 2, namely: (1) code mixing in the form of words, (2) code mixing in the form of phrases, (3) code mixing in the form of clauses. The factors that cause code mixing include five factors, namely: (1) use of more popular terms, (2) speaker and speaker personality, (3) topic, (4) function and purpose, (5) arousing a sense of humor.
