| dc.description.abstract | Carbon trading has become a crucial market mechanism in global climate change mitigation efforts. With the launch of the Indonesian Carbon Exchange (IDXCarbon) in 2023, the need for an accessible digital platform to facilitate carbon transactions is becoming increasingly urgent, especially for sectors outside of large industries such as land transportation, which contribute significantly to emissions. This research aims to design and implement a prototype web-based carbon trading information system integrated with a payment gateway. Integration with a payment gateway enables a secure, cashless payment process and supports various popular payment methods in Indonesia. The research methodology includes system requirements analysis, design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), backend and frontend implementation, and a series of comprehensive system tests. The result of this research is a functional web application prototype capable of simulating the entire carbon quota transaction flow, from quota selection and payment initiation to transaction confirmation through a secure webhook notification mechanism. Testing demonstrates that the integration with the payment gateway was successfully implemented, with the system able to accurately process various payment status scenarios (successful, pending, failed) and update transaction statuses in the database in real time. | en_US |
