Analisis Kebutuhan dan Kesiapan Transformasi Digital Sistem Logistik di PT Tira Austenite Tbk

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an urgent need for companies to improve efficiency and competitiveness, particularly in the logistics sector. This study aims to analyze the needs and assess the readiness level of PT Tira Austenite Tbk in adopting a digital-based logistics system. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through a case study, involving observations, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to employees directly involved in logistics operations. The analysis employed SWOT, GAP Analysis, and Technology Readiness Assessment (TRA) methods. The findings show that the company's logistics system remains semi-manual, with limitations in system integration, data accuracy, and shipment transparency. The organizational readiness is at a "low to moderate" level, with an average TRA score of 2.0. The main barriers to digital transformation include uneven IT infrastructure, low digital literacy among human resources, and the absence of a real-time tracking system. The recommended digitalization implementation strategies include the development of a Warehouse Management System (WMS), modular ERP integration, intensive employee training, and strengthened management support. With the right strategy, PT Tira Austenite Tbk has the potential to significantly enhance logistics efficiency through a gradual and measurable digital transformation.
