Background: Physical violence against women is a serious social and health problem, causing not only physical injuries but also long-term psychological and social impacts. Despite various policies, the incidence of violence against women remains high. RS Bhayangkara TK II Medan frequently serves as a referral hospital for physical violence cases against women. Objective: This study aims to describe the profile of Visum et Repertum cases of physical violence against women at RS Bhayangkara TK II Medan in 2023–2024 based on age, occupation, injury location, type of injury, type of violence, and injury severity. Methods: A
descriptive cross sectional study using secondary data from Visum et Repertum documents recorded in the medical records unit of RS Bhayangkara TK II Medan in 2023–2024. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented as frequency and percentage. Results: Of 201 cases, the most common age group was early adulthood (26–35 years), 58 cases (28.9%). Most victims were unemployed, 120 cases (59.7%). The most frequent injury site was the face, 62 cases (30.8%). The most common type of injury was bruising, 100 cases (49.8%), and blunt violence was the dominant type, 200 cases (99.5%). Most injuries were mild, 185 cases (92.0%). Medan in 2023–
2024 primarily affected early adult women who were
unemployed, with blunt violence and mild bruising predominantly on the face.
