    Abstract
Cherry tomato is a horticultural crop with high economic value and multifunctional uses. Besides being consumed as a vegetable, it also serves as a raw material in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food processing industries. This research was conducted at the field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara, using a factorial randomized block design consisting of two factors with three replications. The first factor was various growing media, namely: 100% topsoil; topsoil and goat manure; topsoil and chicken manure; topsoil and cow manure. The second factor was fertilization: without fertilizer application and the application of NPK Phonska fertilizer at a dose of 3.7 g/plant.The results showed that the growing media treatment of topsoil combined with goat manure did not produce the highest results in the observed parameters. The growing media of topsoil and chicken manure resulted in the highest mean values for most growth and yield parameters. Meanwhile, the growing media of topsoil and cow manure produced the highest mean values for plant height, fruit diameter, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per sample plot, root length, and root dry weight. The application of NPK Phonska fertilizer at 3.7 g/plant produced the highest mean values for the number of leaves, fruit diameter, fruit weight per sample plot, root length, root volume, and root fresh weight. The interaction between topsoil and chicken manure with the application of NPK Phonska 3.7 g/plant resulted in the highest mean values for the number of leaves, root volume, and root fresh weight, while the combination of topsoil and cow manure produced the highest values for fruit diameter and root length.
