    Abstract
Films play an important role in shaping the image of the librarian profession and introducing the benefits of libraries as institutions that support information and learning for the community. This study discusses how the librarian profession and libraries are represented in the Korean drama One Spring Night. The purpose of this study is to reveal the visual, narrative, and symbolic meanings of representations in the drama as a contribution to the promotion of the profession and library services. This study uses the constructionist theory of representation proposed by Stuart Hall and semiotics by Roland Barthes with a qualitative approach through in-depth observation techniques of eighteen scenes in sixteen episodes. The drama One Spring Night successfully presents representations of librarians and libraries that are in line with contemporary librarianship values and their relevance in the modern era. The results of the analysis show that: 1) librarians are portrayed as young, professional, communicative, and creative figures. Librarians are friendly and responsive to users' needs and play a role as agents of change and facilitators of literacy. This representation rejects old stereotypes and presents a dynamic image of librarians who play a strategic role in the digital era. 2) Libraries are represented as modern, educational, and functional public spaces. These institutions serve as centers for literacy activities and social interaction that provide comfort to the community. Libraries are also depicted as actively promoting their collections, using library application technology, and providing various supporting facilities. Overall, the results of this study show that the drama One Spring Night successfully presents representations of librarians and libraries that are in line with the development of modern librarianship values in Indonesia.
