Strengthening Planning of Existing Buildings Based on Asce 41-17 (Case Study of The Teladan Stadium Tower)
Abstract
Indonesia is located at the confluence of major tectonic plates, including the Indo - Australian, Eurasian and pacific plates, causing seismic activity in various regions, including North Sumatera (Sumut). Meteorology, climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) data records hundred of earthquakes above magnitude 4 in North Sumatera since the 20th century, which can damage excisting buildings due to ground shaking and local geotechnical conditions
