    Abstract
With economic development and changing lifestyles, energy consumption increases annually, including in the palm oil industry. To address this situation, environmentally friendly alternative energy sources are needed to utilize the abundance of oil palm seeds. One such approach is the PMFC (plant microbial fuel cell) system. PMFC is a method that utilizes plants and bacteria to generate electricity. This study aims to obtain the bioelectric value of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) aged 4 months, 6 months, 8 months, and 10 months. In this study the anode and cathode used were aluminum plates and copper plates. This study used a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design method consisting of four treatments, namely variations in the age of oil palm seedlings consisting of B1 = 4-month-old oil palm seedlings, B2 = 6-month-old oil palm seedlings, B3 = 8-month-old oil palm seedlings, B4 = 10-month-old oil palm seedlings. The results of this study showed that the electric current produced in treatment B1 was 0,26 mA, B2 was 0,36 mA, B3 was 0,38 mA, and B4 was 0,50 mA. The electric voltage produced in treatment B1 was 563,67 mV, B2 was 589 mV, B3 was 580 mV, and B4 was 544 mV. The electrical power generated in treatment B1 was 144,71 mW, B2 was 217,67 mW, B3 was 228,46 mW, and B4 was 279,26 mW.
