Pengaruh Kualitas Perpustakaan Terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Sipil Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of library quality and explain the role of educational quality on the satisfaction level of students in the Civil Engineering Study Program at HKBP Nommensen University Medan. This study was motivated by the low number of visits by Civil Engineering students to the library. The method used is a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The data sources in this study include primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and observation, with research instrument testing that included validity and reliability tests. The data analysis techniques used consist of descriptive analysis, classical assumption analysis, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and path analysis with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results show that the F value is 109.824 with a significance level of 0.000, which indicates that the overall quality of the library has a significant effect on user satisfaction. In addition, the results of the coefficient of determination test show that library quality can explain 54.2% of the variation in user satisfaction. An Adjusted R Square value of 55.8% indicates that the relationship between library quality and user satisfaction is strong. It can be concluded that the quality of the library affects the satisfaction of students in the Civil Engineering Study Program at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan.
