Analisis Psikometri Career Maturity Inventory Form C (CMI Form C) versi Indonesia untuk Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas
Psychometric Analysis of the Indonesian Version of the Career Maturity Inventory Form C (CMI Form C) for High School Students
Abstract
The Career Maturity Inventory Form C (CMI Form C) is a measurement tool adapted from Savickas and Porfeli's (2011) theoretical model, designed to measure career maturity. This study aims to analyze the psychometrics of the CMI Form C, which has been adapted into Indonesian based on the findings of Supriyantini et al. (2020). The measurement tool consists of four main dimensions: concern, curiosity, confidence, and consultation. The study sample comprised 448 adolescents aged 14–21 years, all of whom were high school students. The research method used was descriptive quantitative research. This study was divided into two stages: First, reliability testing was conducted using Cronbach’s Alpha. The reliability testing results showed that the Indonesian version of the CMI Form C measurement tool had good internal consistency with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.630 (reliability was at a moderate level). Second, conducting construct validity testing through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the results showed a Chi-Square p-value < 0.001 and CFI of 0.704, meaning that Savickas & Porfeli’s (2011) theoretical model did not fully meet the fit standards. However, it is supported by other fit indices, such as RMSEA (0.043) and GFI (0.925), which indicate a reasonably good model fit. The findings of this study suggest that the Indonesian version of the CMI Form C measurement tool still requires further refinement to enhance its structural validity.
