Evaluasi Perpustakaan Universitas Sari Mutiara Indonesia Berdasarkan Peraturan Kepala Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia No. 13 Tahun 2017 Tentang Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the evaluation of the Library of the University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia Based on the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13 of 2017 Concerning the National Standard of Higher Education Libraries. This research was a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Informants in this research were employees of the Library of the University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia totaling 7 people. This research used data collection techniques including observation, interview, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13 of 2017 has 6 standards, namely the standard of library collections, the standard of library facilities and infrastructure, the standard of library services, the standard of library staff, the standard of library implementation, and the standard of library management, each standard is divided into several indicators. The results of this research showed that the Library of the University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia meets the standard of library implementation. In its implementation, there were some indicators in the standards that were already carried out, such as indicators of types of collections, collection development, local content collections, processing of library materials, recount/stock opname, weeding, facilities, library location, technical library staff, library vision, library mission, library goals, library policy, and library functions. The indicators that had not been implemented in accordance with the standards were the number of collections, reference collections, collection preservation, building/room size, room, library opening hours, types of library services, head of library, librarian, and budget.
