In Indonesia, soybeans hold an important position as a food commodity after rice and maize. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in pulley size and soybean harvest moisture content on the performance of soybean shelling and hulling machines, including effective tool capacity, yield, percentage of residual material, and power consumption. This study used a complete randomized design (CRD) factorial method, namely variations in pulley size (P): (2 inches, 4 inches, 6 inches) and soybean harvest moisture content (K): (10%, 13%, 16%). The parameters tested were effective capacity of the machine, yield, percentage of residual material, and power consumption. The results showed that variations in pulley size had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the effective capacity of the machine, yield, percentage of material left behind, and power consumption. Harvest moisture content had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the effective capacity of the machine, yield, percentage of material left behind, and power consumption. The results of the study indicate that the best treatment is P1K2, which is a pulley size of 2 inches and a soybean harvest moisture content of 13%, with an effective capacity of 212.93 kg/hour, a yield of 85.32%, a percentage of residual material of 4.83%, and electricity consumption of 527.19 kWh.en_US
