    Abstract
Background: Globally, Indonesia is ranked second in the world for cases of Tuberculosis burden in the world. Tuberculosis treatment has an effectiveness of up to 85% but 50% of cross-tuberculosis patients have pulmonary dysfunction. Spirometry is a simple examination tool that can be used to evaluate pulmonary dysfunction Material and Methods: This research design was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. A total 60 patients with drug-sensitive tuberculosis who had completed tuberculosis treatment performed spirometry examination. Then, data were collected, processed and analyzed descriptively to see the frequency distribution of the subject of the study. The data would be processed through bivariate analysis (p< 0.05) and be continued by multivariate analyses to find out which factor had the greatest role against the independent variable. Results: Sixty samples underwent spirometry examination with result normal result(33,3%), restriction result (38.3) and obstruction result (28.2) were found. Then using the enter method, from the data were found that only one significant independent variable influenced the lung function in patients with drug-sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis in this study, namely the extent of the lung lesion (p = 0,014) with an Exp (B) value of 4,889 (95% IK = 1,386 – 17,241) which means that subjects with extent of advance lesions would tend to be at a 4.899 times greater risk of developing an abnormal of lung function than those without advanced lesions. Conclusion: Generally, abnormal lung functions (restriction and obstruction ) are found from spirometry examinations (66,7%). The extent of the lung lesion is the dependent variable that most affects the lung function of patients with post-treatment tuberculosis in this study, 4.899 times greater risk of developing an abnormal of lung function than those without advanced lesions
