    Abstract
The problem of work fatigue does not only occur in workers in the industrial sector. Fatigue also occurs in the formal sector, such as education. Results of measurements work fatigue using a reaction timer on 60 respondents found that 41 respondents found that 41 respondents experienced slowed nerve and muclefunction, with prolongned reaction times. A high reaction time indicates work fatigue, so that teachers experience work fatigue. This research method uses a descriptive method to determine the causes of work fatigue among teachers at the Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen Methodist Moria Kisaran. The study population consisted of 60 teachers, with 41 teachers selected as the sample. The variables studied included the intensity of mental fatigue, physical fatigue, work climate, noise, lighting, circadian rhythm, physical problems, health conditions, and nutrition. Data analysiswas conducted using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the causes of teachers fatigue were high mental work intensity in 37 teachers (90,2%) and moderate intensity in 4 teachers (9,8%). Moderate physical work intensity in 26 teachers (63,4%) and rather heavy in 5 teachers (12,2%). Comfortable work climate in 41 classrooms (100,0%). Noise levels below the threshold in 33 teachers (80,5%) and above the threshold in 8 teachers (19,5%). Lighting meeting standards in 39 classroom (95,1%) and not meeting standards in 2 classrooms (4,9%). Good sleep quality in 11 teachers (26,8%) and poor quality in 30 teachers (73,2%). No physical problems in 41 teachers (100,0%). Health condition categorized as unfit in 28 teachers (68,3%) and fit in 13 teachers (31,7%). Poor nutrional intake in 40 teachers (97,6%) and adequate nutrition in 1 teacher (2,4%). Teachers are advised to use their rest time efficiently and effectively after teaching, sleep earlier before the next workday, and improve nutritional intake and eating patterns to enhance work productivity.
