Biobattery is one of the environmentally friendly innovations that can store energy by utilizing organic materials as a source of energy. This research aims to determine the effect of activator variation, biomass variation and activated carbon composition on the performance of coconut waste-based biobatteries. The research method carried out was an experiment using Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) factorial, which involved three factors, namely activator variation (HCl and KOH), biomass variation (coconut shell, coconut fiber and coconut pulp), and activated carbon composition (10%, 20% and 30%), then analyzed using varience analysis (ANOVA) and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The parameters tested include electrical voltage, electric current, electrical resistance, electrical power, resistivity and conductivity. The results showed that the more dominant activator variation did not have a significant effect on the performance of the biobattery, with the best results obtained in the A1 treatment (HCl), the more dominant biomass variation had a real effect on the performance of the biobattery, with the best performance in the B1 treatment (coconut shell), the composition of activated carbon gave a real effect on the performance of the biobattery, where the best results were shown by the K1 treatment (10% activated carbon), as well as the interaction between the activator, biomass and activated carbon composition exerts a noticeable influence on the performance of the biobattery, with the best combination shown by the treatment of A1B1K1 (hydrochloric acid 15%, coconut shell and activated carbon10%). This study shows that biobatteries based on coconut waste carbon with a variety of activators and graphite compositions have the potential as an alternative energy source that is environmentally friendly.en_US
