This study examines the application of the Kaizen concept in improving the work quality of the Housekeeping Division at Shigira Resort Okinawa, Japan. Kaizen, as a philosophy of continuous improvement, is viewed as a framework capable of strengthening a work culture that is disciplined, structured, and quality-oriented. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through direct observation, interviews with housekeeping supervisors and staff, as well as documentation related to the hotel’s operational processes. The findings show that the implementation of Kaizen is reflected in various activities such as morning meetings, the creation of work checklists, room inspections, continuous training, regular evaluations, and the adoption of 5S principles. These activities foster work patterns that are more efficient, standardized, and consistent. In addition, the adoption of Kaizen has a significant impact on improving human resource quality, including discipline, responsibility, work motivation, and the ability to collaborate within teams. Kaizen also enhances staff awareness of the importance of detail and service quality, which contributes to higher guest satisfaction. Thus, the implementation of Kaizen not only affects operational effectiveness but also shapes human resources to be more adaptive and committed to continuous improvement. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the hospitality industry in optimizing housekeeping quality through a work culture approach and the Kaizen philosophy.en_US
