dc.description.abstractBREMA SANJA EDIKEL TARIGAN. Effect of Addition of Fermented Red Galangal Isolate Pediococcus pentosaceus Strain N6 and Noni Fruit Extract on Performance and IP of Broiler Chickens. (Supervised by USMAN BUDI and NURJAMA’YAH BR. KETAREN). This study aims to determine the effect of adding fermented red galangal isolate Pediococcus pentosaceus strain N6 and noni fruit extract that affect the performance of broiler chickens such as feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio and Performance Index. The method used is Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of PO (drinking water without the provision of natural antioxidants), P1 (Provision of 0.025% commercial antioxidant vitamin C), P2 (Provision of 2% natural antioxidant fermented red galangal and noni fruit extract), P3 (Provision of 4% natural antioxidant fermented red galangal and noni fruit extract) P4 (Provision of 6% natural antioxidant fermented red galangal and noni fruit extract). The results of the study showed that Fermented Red Galangal Isolate Pediococcus pentosaceus Strain N6 and Noni Fruit Extract had a significant effect (P <0.01) on feed consumption with an average ranging from 90.54 -98.23 g / e, body weight gain with an average ranging from 61.19-70.63 g / e, feed conversion ratio (feed conversion) with an average ranging from 1.35-1.48, and Performance Index with an average ranging from 413 -523.5 from the results of the study obtained it can be concluded that the best treatment in this study was P4, namely the treatment of 6% natural antioxidant fermented red galangal and noni fruit extract which had the best results in body weight gain, feed conversion ratio (feed conversion) and performance index compared to other treatments.en_US
