Identifikasi Potensi Bahaya Kecelakaan Kerja Menggunakan Metode HIRARC pada Pabrik Kerupuk Sri Rezeki di Kecamatan Na IX-X Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara
Identification of Hazards Potential of Work Accidents Using The Hirarc Method at Sri Rezeki Cracker Factory Na IX-X Sub-District North Labuhanbatu District
Abstract
Occupational safety and health is an important issue that is still ignored, especially in small industries that rely on manual processes, including the Sri Rezeki cracker factory in Na IX-X Sub District, North Labuhanbatu District. The lack of systematic implementation of the K3 system has the potential to increase the number of work accidents and reduce productivity. This study aims to identify of hazards potential of work accidents using the HIRARC method at Sri Rezeki cracker factory Na IX-X Sub District, North Labuhanbatu District. This type of research is descriptive using interviews and observations. The population of this study is factory owners and all workers who work in cracker factories. From the results of the interviews, it is known that there have been cases of work accidents that have occurred at cracker factories in 2012 and 2025. The results showed that in the entire process of making shrimp crackers there were 39 potential hazards and 42 potential risks with 13 risks included in the category of low or low risk (31%), 22 risks included in the category of medium or moderate risk (52%), and 7 risks included in the category of high or high risk (17%). Some of the hazard control measures that help in reducing the potential for work accidents in each cracker making process include the provision of tools and light fire extinguishers (APAR), facility repairs, education on work techniques, workload management, and the use of complete PPE such as boots, gloves, masks, ear plugs, aprons and long-sleeved shirts.
