    Analisis Kadar Timbal (Pb) di Udara dan Urine serta Keluhan Kesehatan Pekerja Bengkel Kendaraan Roda Dua di Jalan Jamin Ginting Kelurahan Padang Bulan Kecamatan Medan Baru Kota Medan Tahun 2018

    Abstract
    Lead (Pb) is a one of heavymetal with gray colour. Lead (Pb) is one of the major pollutants in the air. This is because the function of lead as a mixture of gasoline to improve the performance of motor vehicles. One of the workers who have high risk of exposure to lead (Pb) is a two-wheeled motorcycle workshop worker in Jalan Jamin Ginting, Padang Bulan Village, Medan Baru. This study aims to determine the level of lead (Pb) in the air and the urine of the two-wheeled workshop workers in terms of age, sex, length of work and the number of hours worked. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study are two-wheeled workshop workers, amounting to 35 people with a sample size of 20 people workshop of two-wheeled vehicles. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection method was done by using questioner which then followed by laboratory examination. The results showed that the highest level of lead (Pb) in the ambient air in the work environment of the two-wheeled workshop was 3,02 μg/Nm³. The lead level (Pb) in the urine of the two-wheeled workshop workers examined contained 12 samples having lead levels of ≥25.01 μg / dl and 8 samples having lead levels of ≤25.00 μg / dl. Characteristics of respondents were 26-35 years old as many as 13 people (65.0%), all respondents (100%) were male, maximum period of work 5-14 years was 13 people (65.0 %), length of working hours ≥8 hours / day as many as 17 people (85.0%), where more respondents reside in the alley and distance of respondents home with more workshops are within ≤ 250 meters of 9 people ( 45.0%). Everyday transportation all respondents (100%) that is using motorcycle vehicle. All respondents (100%) had health complaints and did not use PPE during work. It is recommended for the two-wheeled workshop workers to conduct periodic health checks, using personal protective equipment in the form of masks to reduce lead exposure (Pb) to the body. It is expected that the workshop manager to provide mask to reduce lead exposure (Pb) towards the motor-cycle mechanicer.
     
    Timbal atau timah hitam (Pb) adalah suatu logam berat berwarna kelabu. Timbal (Pb) adalah salah satu bahan pencemar utama di udara. Hal ini dikarenakan fungsi timbal sebagai campuran bahan bakar bensin untuk meningkatkan kinerja kendaraan bermotor. Salah satu pekerja yang memiliki resiko tinggi terpapar timbal (Pb) adalah pekerja bengkel kendaraan motor roda dua di Jalan Jamin Ginting, Kelurahan Padang Bulan, Kecamatan Medan Baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar timbal (Pb) di udara dan urine pekerja bengkel roda dua ditinjau dari umur, jenis kelamin, lama kerja dan jumlah jam kerja. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pekerja bengkel kendaraan roda dua yang berjumlah 35 orang dengan jumlah sampel 20 orang pekerja bengkel kendaraan roda dua. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang kemudian diikuti dengan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar timbal (Pb) tertinggi di udara ambien pada lingkungan kerja pekerja bengkel kendaraan roda dua yaitu 3,02 μg/Nm³. Kadar timbal (Pb) dalam urine pekerja bengkel kendaraan roda dua yang diperiksa terdapat 12 sampel yang memiliki kadar timbal ≥25,01 μg/dL dan 8 sampel yang memiliki kadar timbal ≤25,00 μg/dL. Karakteristik responden rata-rata berumur 26-35 tahun sebanyak 13 orang (65,0%), seluruh responden (100%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki, masa kerja paling banyak pada rentang waktu 5-14 tahun sebanyak 13 orang (65,0%), lama jam kerja ≥8 jam/hari yaitu sebanyak 17 orang (85,0%), tempat tinggal responden lebih banyak berada dalam gang dan jarak rumah responden dengan bengkel yang lebih banyak berada dalam jarak ≤ 250 meter yaitu sebanyak 9 orang (45,0%). Transportasi sehari-hari seluruh responden (100%) yaitu menggunakan kendaraan sepeda motor. Seluruh responden (100%) mengalami keluhan kesehatan serta tidak menggunakan APD selama bekerja. Disarankan bagi pekerja bengkel kendaraan beroda dua agar melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala, menggunakan alat pelindung diri berupa masker untuk mengurangi paparan timbal (Pb) terhadap tubuh. Diharapkan bagi pengelola bengkel agar menyediakan masker untuk mengurangi paparan timbal (Pb) terhadap pekerja bengkel kendaraan roda dua.
