Optimal greenhouse environmental management is essential in increasing agricultural productivity. Manual control of soil moisture and room temperature is often inefficient and prone to errors. This study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic control system applied to a greenhouse prototype. This system uses an ESP8266 microcontroller integrated with soil moisture and room temperature sensors. Sensor data is sent in real-time to the IoT platform via a Wi-Fi network for automatic monitoring and control. Water pumps and ventilation fans are activated based on environmental parameters to maintain optimal greenhouse conditions. Testing was conducted on a small-scale prototype to evaluate sensor accuracy, resource efficiency, and system reliability. The results showed that the developed system can control soil moisture and room temperature by effectively regulating the on/off of water pumps and fans. The implementation of this system supports more efficient and accurate greenhouse automation, thus contributing to the development of IoT technology in agriculture.
