The Influence of Perceived Organizational Support on Work Motivation Among Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) at Victoria Accessories
Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of perceived organizational support on work motivation among Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) at Victoria Accessories. The research employed a quantitative method. The subjects consisted of 40 SPG employees working at Victoria Accessories. Data were collected using Likert-scale instruments, including the perceived organizational support scale and the work motivation scale. The analysis technique used in this study was simple linear regression. The results showed that perceived organizational support had a positive influence on work motivation among the SPG Victoria Accessories (sig = 0.000 < 0.05, r = .799, R² = .638= 67.113, p < .001). Perceived organizational support contributed 63.8% to the work motivation of Sales Promotion Girls at Victoria Accessories. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the stronger the perceived organizational support, the higher the work motivation of the SPG Victoria Accessories.
