This study discusses presuppositions in the animation film Ṣalāḥuddīn. The

distributed throughout the film‟s dialogues. These consist of: 10 existential
presuppositions /al-iftirāḍu al-musbaqu al-wujūdiyyu/, 9 factive presuppositions
/al-iftirāḍu al-musbaqu al-wāqi„iyyu/, 1 lexical presuppositions /al-iftirāḍu almusbaqu al-mu„jamiyyu /, 3 structural presuppositions /al-iftirāḍu al-musbaqu albinyawiyyu /, and 1 non-factive presupposition /al-iftirāḍu al-musbaqu ghayru alwāqi„iyyi/. The conclusion of the research indicates that the most frequently
appearing type is the existential presupposition due to the frequent use of
character names, place names, and concrete objects in the storyline.
