Tindak Tutur Ilokusi pada Ceramah Tauhid di Kanal Youtube Dr Othman Alkamees - الشيخ الدكتور عثمان الخميس

Abstract

This research discusses illocutionary speech acts in Tawhid lectures on the YouTube channel of Dr. Othman Alkamees (الشيخ الدكتور عثمان الخميس). The objective of this study is to identify the classification of illocutionary speech acts in the Tawhid lectures on Dr. Othman Alkamees’s YouTube channel. This study is a library research project employing pragmatic theory, specifically focusing on illocutionary speech acts. The method employed is qualitative, utilizing the observation method (simak) and note-taking technique (catat). The results of the study indicate that there are four classifications of speech acts found in the Tawhid lectures. In the first title, there are 37 instances of assertive speech acts, 2 commissive, 11 directive, and 1 expressive. Furthermore, in the second title, 26 assertive, 12 directive, and 4 expressive speech acts were found. Meanwhile, the third title contained 26 assertive, 3 directive, and 4 expressive speech acts. Finally, in the fourth title, 17 assertive, 3 commissive, 5 directive, and 1 expressive speech acts were identified. However, declarative speech acts were not found in any of the titles. It can be concluded that the use of illocutionary speech acts in Dr. Othman Alkamees's Tawhid lectures is informative and persuasive in nature.
