Health complaints among farmers are one of the common problems arising from pesticide exposure and occupational factors in agricultural environments. Corn farmers are at high risk of experiencing health disorders due to exposure to chemicals, nonergonomic working conditions, and the suboptimal use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This study aimed to determine the factors associated with health complaints among corn farmers in Perbesi Village, Karo Regency, including age, gender, working hours, years of service, and the use of personal protective equipment. This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross sectional design involving 35 corn farmers as respondents. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that most farmers (80%) experienced moderate health complaints. Variables such as age, gender, working hours, and years of service had no significant relationship with health complaints. However, the use of personal protective equipment showed a significant relationship with health complaints (p = 0.004) with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.472. This indicates that the less complete the use of personal protective equipment, the higher the risk of farmers experiencing health complaints.en_US
