Pengaruh Motivasi dan Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Sei Merah Estate

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation and competence on employee performance at PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Sei Merah Estate. This research is an associative study using primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The population of this study consists of all employees working as harvesters in the plantation environment of PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Sei Merah Estate. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling; therefore, all harvester employees at PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Sei Merah Estate were selected as research respondents. The data analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that, partially, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Sei Merah Estate. Likewise, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Sei Merah Estate. Simultaneously, motivation and competence have a significant effect on employee performance at PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Sei Merah Estate.
