dc.description.abstractTemperature can affect the efficiency of solar panels. The use of passive cooling on solar panels can increase their productivity by lowering the panel temperature. Therefore, an experimental study was conducted by comparing five types of solar panel designs with passive cooling systems, namely cooling using an aluminum plate heatsink, a round-fin heatsink, a square-fin heatsink, a 12-fin heatsink, and a vortex generator. The results of the study show that the highest efficiency is produced by the solar panel using the vortex generator cooling system, with an average efficiency value over 3 days of 14.12%. Meanwhile, the solar panel with the lowest temperature is the one using the 12-fin heatsink cooling system, with an average temperature over 3 days of 34.4℃.en_US
