Pengaruh perbedaan dosis probio FM terhadap kualitas kimia kompos litter ayam sebagai media tumbuh maggot black soldier fly (Hermetia Illucens).
The effect of different doses of probio FM on the chemical quality of chicken litter compost as a growing medium for black soldier fly maggots (Hermetia Illucens).
Abstract
Probio FM is a liquid probiotic containing several species of lactic acid bacteria, which are the result of microbial isolation taken from the digestive tract of Kerinci ducks. The use of Probio FM also increases the nutritional value of the medium, because it increases the availability of amino acids, fatty acids, and other important organic components that support larval growth. This study aims to determine the nutritional content of chicken litter as a medium fermented with Probio FM. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications: P0 (chicken litter without fermentation); P1 (4% Probio FM fermented chicken litter; P2 (4,5% Probio FM fermented chicken litter); P3 (5% Probio FM fermented chicken litter); P4 (5,5% Probio FM fermented chicken litter). The parameters observed were Water Content (WA), Crude Protein (CP), Crude Fat (CF), and Crude Fiber (CF). The higher the dose of Probio FM in the fermentation of the growth medium, the higher the nutritional content of chicken litter as a maggot growth medium. The Probio FM dose of up to 5,5% treatment P4 gave the highest KA results of 29.99%, the highest PK of 8.19%, and the highest LK of 7.80% and treatment P0 gave the lowest KA results of 17.27%, the lowest PK of 3.92% and the lowest LK of 3.93%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the best chicken litter fermented with Probio FM was obtained in treatments P3 and P4.
