dc.description.abstractWater is a vital resource for human life, and therefore its quality must always be maintained. This research aims to develop a mineral water quality monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, processed locally with an ESP32 microcontroller. The measured parameters include Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, and turbidity, which are then analyzed using the SAW method to determine water quality categories and ranking. The system is equipped with local data storage using SPIFFS, ensuring functionality even when the internet connection is unstable, and displays results directly on an LCD and the ThingsBoard platform for remote monitoring. The system was tested with ten water samples collected from various sources. Measurement results showed TDS values ranging from 27.077 to 66.322 ppm, pH values between 7.2 and 7.7, and turbidity at 0% for all samples. Based on the SAW method, the final water quality scores ranged from 0.89113 to 0.96971, with all samples categorized as “Good.” The ranking results indicated that sample 7 achieved the highest score of 0.97, followed by samples 9 and 8 with scores of 0.96. The findings demonstrate that the SAW method can be effectively applied to classify water quality in IoT-based systems with limited resources. The developed system provides accurate, efficient, and user-friendly results, and has the potential to be implemented in water refill depots and households as a real-time water quality monitoring solution.en_US
