Construction projects with repetitive activities, such as the construction of multi-storey buildings, require a scheduling method that can clearly and systematically describe the sequence of work. This study analyzes the application of the Line of Balance (LoB) method in the Construction Project of the Integrated Oncology Center Building at Adam Malik Hospital Medan, which has a repetitive work pattern in the structural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations from the 1st to the 8th floor. The objectives of this study are to compile a project schedule using the LoB method, compare the resulting duration with the existing schedule using the S-Curve, and evaluate the effectiveness of LoB in managing interdependent activities. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of the S-Curve and the project time schedule. The analysis is carried out through job decomposition, logic diagram preparation, calculation of start and finish times for each work cycle, and LoB graph creation. The results showed that the LoB method produced a total duration of 104 weeks, the same as the duration of the S-Curve method. However, the application of LoB was able to identify conflicts between activities, such as overlapping structural and MEP work, thus allowing schedule improvements through adjustments to the relationships between activities. The revised LoB graph showed no intersections between activities, indicating a more coordinated schedule. Thus, the LoB method has proven effective for projects with repetitive work because it is able to provide a clearer visualization of work relationships and facilitate schedule control.en_US
