Preparation of 2-Ethylhexyl Decanoate from decanoic acid and 2-Ethylhexanol carried out through esterification reaction using microwave radiation and lipase enzyme as catalyst. The parameters used in this study were variation of lipase enzyme concentration with variation of 1%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 9% and mole ratio with variation of 1: 1, 1: 2, 1: 3, 1: 4, 1: 5. Determination of 2-Ethylhexyl decanoate conversion by conducting alkalimetric titration. The obtained 2-Ethylhexyl Decanoate was analyzed for its functional groups using FT-IR and identified the compound using GS-MS. The maximum conversion of 2-Ethylhexyl Decanoate of 97.8% was obtained for the catalyst concentration parameters, with a catalyst concentration of 1%, a mole ratio of 1:3, a reaction time of 1 minute, and a microwave power of 20%. The formation of 2-Ethylhexyl Decanoate from the synthesis results was marked by the presence of asymmetric -C-O stretching vibrations at a wave number of 1036.2 cm-1. Based on the results of GC-MS, the peak of molecular ions at m/z 284 states that the molecular weight of 2-Ethylhexil Decanoate and the base peak is at m/z 57 so that it can be concluded that there has been a process of substitution of 2-Ethylhexil alcohol against the H atom contained in the carboxylic group of decanoic acid
