dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine user satisfaction with the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) at the Pematangsiantar City Archives and Library Department using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. The research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation and questionnaire distribution with a sample size of 99 respondents. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling, which is a combination of proportional stratified random sampling and probability sampling strategies. The data analysis technique used in this study was data tabulation and percentage. The results of this study indicate that users are satisfied with the OPAC system at the Pematangsiantar City Archives and Library Office. The average user satisfaction with OPAC based on the Content indicator was 74.00%, the Accuracy indicator was 74.81%, the Ease of Use indicator was 61.07%, the Format indicator was 78.92%, the Timeliness indicator was 52.52%, and the Security indicator was 74.94%. The conclusion of this study is that OPAC users are satisfied with the OPAC system at the Pematangsiantar City Archives and Library Office, with an average percentage of 69.38%. This shows that the OPAC system has succeeded in meeting user expectations in various important aspects, such as the quality of information content presented, accuracy and speed of access, ease of use, visual appearance, and securityen_US
