This study aims to examine the effect of forgiveness on psychological well-being with social support as a moderator variable among women victims of domestic violence in North Sumatra. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Participants were 210 women victims of domestic violence in North Sumatra selected using nonprobability sampling techniques. Research instruments included Ryff's Scales of Psychological Well-Being, Transgression Related Interpersonal Motivation Inventory (TRIM-18) to measure forgiveness, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Data analysis used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that forgiveness had a significant positive effect on psychological well-being. Furthermore, social support proved to act as a significant moderator, where the effect of forgiveness on psychological well-being became stronger when individuals had high social support. These findings indicate that the combination of forgiveness and supportive social support is key to restoring the psychological well-being of domestic violence victims.
