Analisis Pendapatan Peternak Jangkrik di Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Deli Serdang Regency is one of the areas that is able to meet the needs of crickets on demand from various surrounding areas, including Medan City. Farmers have never done financial recording on their business. This research aims to determine the amount of income and business feasibility. The research has been carried out from April to May 2025. The determination of the sample with Total Sampling obtained as many as 72 cricket breeders. Data collection uses primary data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by calculating production costs, receipts, revenue, Break Even Point, R/C Ratio, and B/C Ratio from 2022 to 2024. The results of the study show that the average income of cricket farmers in Deli Serdang Regency on a small scale reaches Rp 37.383.187, on a medium scale of Rp 141.893.801, and on a large scale of Rp 643.200.020. The value of the BEP Price IDR 15.173 on a small scale, on a medium scale of IDR 14,559, and on a large scale it reaches IDR 13.209 and the BEP of production on a small scale is 544 Kg/Year, on a medium scale of 1,735 Kg/Year and on a large scale it is 4.821 Kg/Year. The R/C value on a small scale is 2.7 on an intermediate scale is 3.1 and on a large scale is 4.0, while the B/C value on a small scale is 1.7 on an intermediate scale is 2.1 and on a large scale is 3.0. Thus, the business of cricket breeders in Deli Serdang Regency is worth pursuing.
