Analisis Perubahan Garis Pantai Berdasarkan Survei dan Pemetaan di Pantai Mutiara Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

This study aims to analyze shoreline changes at Mutiara Beach, Serdang Bedagai Regency, using drone-based surveys and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping methods. Shoreline changes are ongoing phenomena influenced by natural factors such as waves, currents, and human activities. The research was conducted by collecting primary data through geodetic measurements and aerial photographs using drones in 2024. The analysis results indicate significant accretion of 86.46 meters during 2021-2022, while the largest erosion recorded was 33.01 meters in 2021-2022. The study also found that shoreline changes could affect the river mouth flows and infrastructure around the beach. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for coastal resource management and as monitoring data for future research.
