This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and adaptive leadership style on job satisfaction and employee performance at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Bah Lias Estate, Division 3 Manahul, as well as to examine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. The sampling method used was simple random sampling with Slovin’s formula, resulting in a sample of 69 plantation employees. The analytical methods employed were Multiple Linear Regression and Simple Linear Regression.
The results showed that both partially and simultaneously, the work environment and adaptive leadership style have a significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction was also found to have a significant influence on employee performance. These findings suggest that a better work environment and effective adaptive leadership practices can enhance employees’ job satisfaction and performance in the plantation division.
