Development in the health sector is very important to improve the quality of human
resources. The Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate is an indicator of the degree of
health and the success of implementing health development. Reducing MMR and
IMR is a goal and target of health development. ANC services aim to accelerate
the decline in MMR and IMR by ensuring that every pregnant woman has good
access to quality maternal health services. Quality ANC services can be seen by
measuring the effective coverage of these services, namely to find out how many
pregnant women receive quality ANC services, in accordance with the standards.
The research method used is descriptive in nature, using qualitative research
methods to see the effective coverage of antenatal care services. Data collection in
this study was carried out by means of in-depth interviews, direct observation, and
viewing all MCH Poly documents and MCH books for pregnant women related to
the research title. The results showed that ANC services at the Lumban Lobu
Health Center had reached the effective coverage stage. The services provided are
in accordance with established standards, namely a minimum of 6 visits, and the
examinations provided include 10 T of pregnancy checks with a minimum of 2
examinations by a doctor. There were no cases of LBW, maternal deaths, or infant
deaths, and all babies were born under normal conditions and the mothers were in
good health. It is hoped that the ANC services provided can be maintained and
improved so that in the future the maternal health services provided will be of
higher quality.
