    Abstract
In the management of HGU, Plantation Companies are required to maintain the preservation of High Conservation Value (HCV) areas, one of which is the riverbank area. The preservation of the riverbank area is often challenged by occupation by the community around the river border. This study aims to find out whether riverbank management involving local communities with an agroforestry system type Agroapiculture can maintain the sustainability of riverbank and can be implemented sustainably. For this reason, the actual erosion rate is measured and erosion prediction is carried out using the USLE method and then comparing the erosion rate that occurs at the riverbank, vacant land and in the tea forest (unmaintain tea). Observation Results The actual erosion rate in the riverbank area is still low (2,131 tons/ha/year), and the prediction of erosion by the USLE method is 10,977 tons/ha/year, even smaller than the permissible erosion of 24.1 ton/Ha/year. . In addition, honey bee farming does not require complicated technology and can be easily followed by farmers so that farmers who manage the riverbank can earn an additional income of Rp. 3,609,000 per month from the sale of the honey they produce.
