    Pengomposan Sampah Taman dan Kotoran Kambing Menggunakan Mol Limbah Buah

    Abstract
    Kompos merupakan pupuk organik yang berasal dari penguraian bahan-bahan organik seperti sisa-sisa buangan makhluk hidup, baik itu dari hewan maupun tumbuhan. Salah satu bahan yang dapat dikomposkan adalah sampah taman. Sampah taman merupakan salah satu jenis sampah organik yang dihasilkan dari bahan hayati. Sampah taman seperti sampah dedaunan dan rumput merupakan sampah yang sering di temukan di sekitar lingkungan kita. seperti di lingkungan PT. PLN Udiklat Tuntungan yang merupakan salah satu instansi yang banyak di tumbuhi pohon-pohon dan rerumputan. Di PT. PLN Udiklat Tuntungan sumber potensi timbulan sampah terbesar yaitu berasal dari sampah taman yang berupa kayu, daun-daun dan rerumputan, yaitu sekitar 51,28 kg atau 301,35 l setiap harinya atau 63,49 % dari total sampah keseluruhan di PT. PLN Udiklat Tuntungan. Salah satu penganganan permasalahan sampah yang bisa dilakukan adalah pengomposan. Dengan pengomposan, sampah-sampah yang tadinya tidak berguna dapat dimanfaatkan setelah menjadi pupuk kompos. Cara untuk mempercepat pengomposan diantaranya dengan penambahan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mempelajari pengaruh penambahan MOL limbah buah terhadap kinerja proses pengomposan dari campuran sampah taman dan kotoran kambing. Metode pengomposan menggunakan metode Berkeley. Hasil pengomposan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan kematangan yang sesuai dengan SNI : 19-7030-2004 (10-20), Yaitu Pengomposan dengan penambahan MOL 10 ml, nilai Kadar C-organik 15.2%, N-Total 0.81 % dan Nilai Rasio C/N 18.77 %. Pada Pengomposan dengan penambahan MOL 30 ml, Kadar C-organik 14.2 %, N-Total 0,82 % dan Nilai Rasio C/N 17.32 %. Sedangkan Pengomposan dengan penambahan MOL 50 ml, Kadar C-organik 13,1 %, N-Total 0,80 % dan Nilai Rasio C/N 16.38 %.
     
    Compost is an organic fertilizer that comes from the decomposition of organic materials such as the remnants of living things, both from animals and plants. One of the ingredients that can be composted is park waste. Park waste is one type of organic waste produced from biological materials. Park waste like leaves and grass are trash that is often found around our environment. like in the PT. PLN Udiklat Tuntungan which is one of the agencies that are overgrown with trees and grasses. At PT. PLN Udiklat Tuntungan is the biggest source of potential waste generation, which comes from garden waste in the form of wood, leaves and grass, which is around 51.28 kg or 301.35 l every day or 63.49% of the total waste in PT. PLN Udiklat Tuntungan. One of the handling of waste problems that can be done is composting. By composting, waste that was previously useless can be used after becoming compost. The way to speed up composting is by adding effective microbes (EM of fruits). The purpose of this study was to study the effect of adding fruit waste MOL to the performance of the composting process from a mixture of park waste and goat manure. The composting method uses the Berkeley method. Composting results in this study showed maturity in accordance with SNI: 19-7030-2004 (10-20), namely composting with the addition of 10 ml effective microbes (EM of fruits), value of C-organic 15.2%, N-total 0.81% and value ratio C/N 18.77%. In Composting with the addition of 30 ml effective microbes (EM of fruits), value of C-organic 14.2%, N-Total 0.82% and value ratio C/N 17.32%. While Composting with the addition of 50 ml effective microbes (EM of fruits), Organic C-Level 13.1%, N-Total 0.80% and value ratio C/N 16.38%
