    Abstract

Park waste is one of the wastes produced by PT PLN. UDIKLAT TUNTUNGAN which can be utilized further so that it becomes a useful value material, one of which is by composting. This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in the addition effective microbes (EM) of vegetable waste to composting. Composted material is 5 kg of leaf waste and 3.5 kg of goat manure. Composting was carried out with four treatments, namely the addition EM of vegetable waste with variations 0 ml (as a control), 10 ml, 30 ml, and 50 ml per kg of raw material. This study concluded that there was an effect of adding EM with variations of 10 ml and 30 ml and 50 ml on the composting process. The value of the C-organic ratio in the treatment of 10 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and controls were 14.1%, 14%, 14.7% and 16.1%, respectively. The N-totals values in the 10 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and control treatments were 0.81%, 0.78%, 0.79% and 0.72%, respectively. Water content values in variations 10 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and controls are 45%, 40.1%, 44.9% and 37 respectively. C / N ratio values in the treatment of 10 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and successive controls 17.4%, 17.9%, 18.6% and 22.3% respectively. The above parameters have met SNI (19-7030-2004) about the compost specifications of domestic organic waste
