dc.description.abstract | Maximal and qualified achievement of instructors’ performance in
implementing the Three Principles of Education: education, research, and public
service need capacity the process of education and training which are in accordance
with their qualification. The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of
education and training on the instructors’ performance at STIKes Putra Abadi Langkat.
The research used associative method with 52 respondents as the samples. The data
were gathered by using questionnaires of instructors’ performance with the indicator of
the Three Principles of Education (education, research, and public service), completed
by interviews and analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment test. The result of the
research showed that 84.6% of the respondents had good education, 82.7% of the
respondents had good education and training, 84.6% of the respondents had moderate
performance based on the aspects of the Three Principles of Education (education,
research, and public service), 65.38% of the respondents had good performance based
on the category of education and learning, 90.38% of the respondents had lack of
performance based on the category of research, and 80.76% of the respondents had lack
of performance based on the category of public service. The result of correlation
analysis on education and training showed that there was significant correlation
between training and performance. The result of multiple linear regression analysis
showed that education had the influence on instructors’ performance (p=0.578) and
training had the influence on instructors’ performance (p=0.622). It is recommended
that the management of the institution evaluate instructors’ performance in carrying out
the Three Principles of Education and make the supporting policies in order to achieve
the indicator of optimal and equal performance for all aspects of the Three Principles of

dc.description.abstract | Pencapaian kinerja staf pendidik yang maksimal dan berkualitas dalam melaksanakan tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat, membutuhkan upaya peningkatan kemampuan melalui proses pendidikan dan pelatihan yang sesuai dengan kualifikasi tugasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja staf pendidik di STIKes. Putra Abadi Langkat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah assosiatif dengan pendekatan penelitian cross sectional.Pengambilan sampel secara purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 52 orang. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner kinerja staf pengajar dengan indikator tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat dan juga dilengkapi dengan wawancara.Analisa data menggunakan uji Person Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mayoritas pendidikan staf pendidik adalah baik 84,6% dan pelatihan staf pendidik juga baik 82,7%, kinerja staf pendidik berdasarkan aspek tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat mayoritas cukup (84,6%). Hasil kinerja staf pendidik berdasarkan kategori pendidikan dan pembelajaran mayoritas baik (65,38%), kinerja staf pendidik berdasarkan kategori penelitian mayoritas kurang (90,38%), kinerja staf pendidik berdasakan kategori pengabdian masyarakat mayoritas kurang (80,76%). Hasil analisis korelasi pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukan bahwa pendidikan mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja staf pendidik (p=0,578) dan pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja staf pendidik (p=0,622). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan pimpinan institusi melakukan penilaian kinerja pada setiap staf pendidik STIKes. Putra Abadi Langkat dalam menjalankan tri dharma perguruan tinggi dan membuat uapaya berupa kebijakan-kebijakann yang mendukung untuk mencapai indikator kinerja yang optimal dan merata pada semua aspek tri dharma perguruan tinggi. | en_US |
