Analisis Kelas Sosial dan Diskriminasi pada Film Cj7 Karya Stephen Chow

Abstract

This research entitled "Analysis of Social Classes and Discrimination on CJ7 Film by Stephen Chow" which focused on the description of the social class of Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti who were portrayed in the CJ7 film and the forms of discrimination between Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti on CJ7 movie. The theory used in this study is the theory of sociology of literature that focuses on the problems of social class using the theory of Karl Marx. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method based on the analysis of dialogue between characters in the CJ7 film. Data sources were obtained from the film itself and several books and journals. The main objective of this study was to describe the description of the social classes of Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti figures depicted in the CJ7 film and also describe the discrimination between social classes experienced by Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti who were portrayed in CJ7 Film. After analyzing the description of the social class, the researcher described discrimination between classes experienced by Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti in the CJ7 film. The results of the analysis showed that Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti were from the lower economic class or the proletarian class. Zhou Xiao Di and also Zhou Ti lived in an environment that was on average in the bourgeois class. The description of the Proletarian class appears to Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti and the bourgeoisie to the friends of Zhou Xiao Di and also boss Zhou Ti. Because of the class differences, there was discrimination against Zhou Xiao Di and Zhou Ti's figures either directly or indirectly.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Kelas Sosial dan Diskriminasi pada Film CJ7 Karya Stephen Chow” yang terfokus pada gambaran kelas sosial pada tokoh Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti yang digambarkan pada film CJ7 dan bentuk diskriminasi antar kelas yang dialami Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti pada film CJ7. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori sosiologi sastra yang berfokus pada permasalah kelas sosial dengan menggunakan teori Karl Marx. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan analisis dialog antar tokoh pada film CJ7. Sumber data diperoleh dari film itu sendiri dan beberapa buku serta jurnal. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran kelas sosial tokoh Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti yang digambarkan dalam Film CJ7 dan juga mendeskripsikan diskriminasi antar kelas sosial yang dialami Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti yang digambarkan dalam Film CJ7. Setelah menganalisis gambaran kelas sosial, peneliti mendeskripsikan diskriminasi antar kelas yang dialami Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti pada film CJ7.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti berasal dari kelas ekonomi bawah atau kelas proletar. Zhou Xiao Di dan juga Zhou Ti hidup dengan lingkungan yang rata-rata berada pada kelas borjuis. Gambaran kelas Proletar tampak pada Tokoh Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti dan kelas borjuis tampak pada teman-teman Zhou Xiao Di dan juga bosnya Zhou Ti. Karena perbedaan kelas tersebut maka terjadilah tindakan diskriminasi pada tokoh Zhou Xiao Di dan Zhou Ti baik secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung.
