Abstract

The paper is entitled A Description of The Main Charaters in Mark Twain's novel The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn. The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn is about the adventures of Hucleberry Finn and with his friends in the novel. The Adventures Huckleberry Finn. The novel is a famous novel that discusses slavery and racial inequalities that occurred in America. In this paper the discussion focuses on the nature of the two main characters of the novel. Huck and Jim. Both characters have different backgrounds but they have a close relationship without differentiating their skin color. Huck and Jim have different characteristics. In this paper, the writer uses the Library Research by reading some books that are relevant to this title or as a source to get information that can support this title and also by searching on internet to complete the data that have been collected.

Kertas karya ini berjudul A Description of The Main Charaters in Mark Twain’s Novel The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn. Novel The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn menceritakan tentang petualangan Hucleberry Finn dan teman-temannya di dalam Novel. Novel tersebut merupakan sebuah novel terkenal yang membahas tentang perbudakan dan kesenjangan ras yang terjadi di Amerika. Dalam kertas karya ini pembahasan dipusatkan pada sifat dua tokoh utama dari novel tersebut, Huck dan Jim. Kedua karakter tersebut memiliki latar belakang yang berbeda namun mereka memiliki hubungan yang erat tanpa membedakan warna kulit mereka. Huck dan Jim mempunyai sifat yang berbeda. Dalam penyusunan kertas karya ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (Library research) dengan membaca beberapa buku yang berhubungan dengan judul ini dan juga penelusuran dari internet untuk melengkapi data yang telah di kumpulkan.
